The kitchen screen
Three columns, three taps. This page is the whole job.
Where it lives
Open Sell → Kitchen screen. Three columns: Incoming → Cooking → Ready.
Your loop, all day
- New ticket lands in Incoming. The screen flashes and chimes. The top card is the oldest — always take the top card.
- Tap Start — the ticket moves to Cooking.
- Tap each item line as you finish it — it gets a ✓ and fades. Tap again to un-tick.
- All done: tap Ready.
- Handed to the waiter or customer: tap Served. The ticket leaves the screen.
Also good to know
- Wrong card tapped? A ↩ Undo chip sits at the bottom for 10 seconds. After that, ask the manager.
- Notes from the till appear on the ticket — read them before cooking.
- Tabs at the top — All / Bar / Kitchen — filter tickets by station. Bar staff pick Bar and see only drinks.
- Same item ordered many times is grouped with a big quantity number. Trust the number.
- Dark mode button is in the header (less glare at night).
- QR orders from customers’ phones appear here like any other ticket. Cook them the same.
